Universal Studios Florida Theme Park in Orlando

This is not well-known information and I have heard that it won't work every time, but when you are in child swap, if you ask a worker for a Height Certificate for kids who are too short to ride the ride, they will give them a signed certificate that will allow them to go to the front of the line with up to 5 family members the next time they come back and they are tall enough. This saved us A LOT of tears!

If you have any American Express card, use it for merchandise purchases and get 10% off ($75 minimum merchandise purchase required). You can also get 10% off the purchase of a meal plan. However, you seem to need to remind the cashiers of this (ask for the American Express discount as you hand them your card). They seem to be either too lazy to do it, or are encouraged to only give it those "in the know". Also does not work at carts, so go inside to make your purchases.

The hanging Jaws shark that once stood outside the Jaws attraction is still available to stick your head into. It was moved out of the way near the lake between the San Francisco Candy Factory and Chez Alcatraz. This is the same spot where Jerry Springer's character in Sharknado 3 humorously met his demise!

If you plan on getting burgers for lunch, go here as all the hamburgers are the same throughout the park and this restaurant is the only one that includes a burger fixin's bar. This is a good (not great) buffet that provides unlimited amounts of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. Two can split one double burger and mound the toppings up for a sort of burger/salad creation.

As you leave "Aunt Meg's" house and enter the final room, stay to the right. Most people see the stairs on the left and head up that way. However, if you go all the way to the right you'll enter the front row and will be closest to the action. Be sure to grab the railing and "hold your ground" against not only the twister, but latecomers and their kids who will try to sneak in front of you and steal your premium view.

There are actually two rows of front seats on this ride, the second of which very few know about or request. The ride consists of two connected vehicles, one after another. However, both vehicles swivel to the left in each projection room, resulting in both vehicles having a front row of seats. As you are entering the boarding area, ask for "row five" (the first row on the second vehicle) and blow right by those waiting extra time for what is perceived as the only front row.

The theater has three levels with four cars each. You want to shoot for the middle level, in one of the center cars. This is easy to do - you just need to ask! As you are going through the line, the first attendant you encounter splits people into the different levels. Ask him or her if you can go to the middle level. Once inside the building, ask the second attendant if you can have a center car (room 2 or 3). Be the first in your group to enter the loading area to snag a front row seat.
