Newport Resort in Egg Harbor

If you are planning on hosting a gathering in your room and need more outdoor space, there is a great option for you. It is actually the room located at the very front of the building, but it has a large second balcony connected to the standard balcony by a few steps. This is actually the space on top of the entry way to the main lobby. This second space is square and very private (no one can see you from the parking lot) and even has a glimpse of Lake Michigan. Ask for room 202!

There are two separate layouts available for the two bedroom rooms (not sure about the one bedrooms). A "split" room has the bedrooms on opposite sides. This layout feels roomier, but has a smaller balcony/porch. The "side-by-side" has the bedrooms next to each other, which is good if you are traveling with smaller children. The common area is more awkward with the "side-by-side" layout, but you get a much bigger balcony/porch with a larger outdoor table.

There is a small room off the lobby that has a free hot chocolate/cappuccino machine. Kids love it. You can also find Door County travel brochures here along with some coupons for local merchants.
